Maltese Authority’s certifications are quite serious, as much as all Maltese services are. A Maltese license requires that your company’s bank (for players’ deposits), your game and backup servers, and your hosting too, are all Maltese.
According to the latest Maltese regulations, there are four license classes:
1st Class - Gaming remote licenses for online game (the common est for casinos)
2nd Class - Gaming Remote licenses for online bets and sports bets
3rd Class - ABET promotions and games from Malta (poker)
4th Class - Hosting and game managing (except for self licenses)
